Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Cyber Security Analyst for a remote position. The Cyber Security Analyst will play a key role in monitoring and responding to security incidents, identifying and addressing system weaknesses, analyzing malware, and implementing protective measures. Responsibilities include ensuring application and network security, evaluating security controls, and developing protocols to safeguard systems and data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, information systems, or a related technical field; formal education or equivalent hands-on expertise accepted
  • At least 3 years of experience in security operations, including incident detection, analysis, and response
  • Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and standard practices in threat response
  • Practical experience securing workloads and infrastructure in AWS and Azure environments
  • Proficient with tools such as SIEMs (e.g., Datadog), endpoint detection platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne), and interpreting network activity
  • Understanding of industry compliance frameworks like FedRAMP, HIPAA, and GDPR
  • Ability to clearly document and communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong situational judgment and decision-making skills during high-pressure security incidents
