Job summary
A leading care community in Ottawa is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to provide compassionate care and support to residents. This role involves working closely with residents and their families, ensuring high-quality nursing care, and supervising support staff. - Experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, and/or senior health industry is considered an asset.
- Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care according to established policies and the resident plan of care.
- Ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment for residents.
- Oversee resident care and communicate regularly with families.
- Supervise Personal Support Workers assigned to the unit.
