Job summary

A healthcare organization in Ontario is seeking a Nurse to support both the Emergency Department and Critical Care Unit. Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in a critical care unit required.
  • 1 year of experience in an emergency department required.
  • Successful completion of Critical Care Certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Critical Care and Emergency Departments.
  • Support physician-lead Critical Care Response Team.
  • Float between units based on patient volumes and needs.

Education

Graduate of an accredited college or university nursing program
Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

Critical Care Certificate or equivalent
