Security Operations Leader | TS/SCI, On-Site Role
Job summary
A defense contractor based in Raleigh, Newfoundland and Labrador, is seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager. This role involves leading security operations, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and managing personnel security programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management with at least 15 years of experience, including a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment. This is a full-time on-site position.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant security experience.
- Active in-scope TS/SCI clearance preferred.
- Experience in various security roles like FSO or ISSM.
- Ability to lead teams and make independent decisions.
- Strong understanding of access control systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day management of security program.
- Ensure compliance with NISPOM and ICD requirements.
- Oversee personnel security and facility clearance compliance.
- Prepare for and lead vulnerability assessments.
- Manage SCI nomination processes and facility management.
