Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in rigging up and rigging down of wireline equipment.
- Assists in the preparation of the wireline unit and calibration of tools.
- Assists in the assemblies of perforating guns and rebuild of setting tools in various field and shop locations as needed.
- Guides surface tools during wireline operations.
- Use excellent judgement and problem-solving skills in assisting in troubleshooting of tools and equipment.
- Maintains assigned wireline unit, tools, equipment and facilities in a neat, workable condition.
- Drives company wireline units, cranes, pickups and pickup pulling trailers.
- Ensures that all safety practices are implemented before, during and after the well service operation.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Position Requirements
- As a key member of our Operations team you will be detail oriented, self-motivated and safety conscious. You’re a team player who’s customer service focused attitude does not go unnoticed. You are a high performer, have a positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships.
- Current Class 3 Driver's License with Airbrake Endorsement, or the ability to attain it within 120 days of employment.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
- Occasionally required to assist in lifting and/or moving of 150lbs
- Works outdoors in all weather conditions.
Qualifications and Training Certificates Required (or be willing and able to obtain)
- Valid H2S Alive and First Aid Certificate
- Class 3Q Drivers License
- Legally allowed to work in Canada
- Alcohol, Drug and fit to work testing is a pre-employment requirement.
- Provide your own steel toe boots (CSA approved)
