Are you looking to put your winter driving skills to good use while contributing to the safety of your community? We are seeking a Plow Operator to join our team this winter season. If you have experience in snow removal and are ready to take on the challenge, we want to hear from you!
Position Overview: As a Plow Operator, you will be responsible for driving a 2500 Pick Up Truck equipped with a 1.5-yard salter and V-blade to clear and salt roadways, driveways, and parking lots. You’ll be called in for various events, including snowfalls and salt runs, ensuring all sites are safe and accessible during winter weather.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a 2500 Pick-Up Truck with a V-blade to plow snow.
  • Use the 1.5-yard salter to distribute ice melting products on various sites, collaborating with other drivers to ensure all sites are salted
  • Meet at our landscape yard located at 313 Sunnyridge Road to pick up the plow truck at the start of each shift.
  • Work irregular hours, including being on-call for snowfalls and salt runs, with shifts that may occur during nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements:
  • G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract.
  • Proven experience in operating plow trucks
  • Min 1 season experience in snow removal
  • Available to work on an on-call basis for various snow events.
  • Ability to work efficiently in varying winter weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
