Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, optimizing logistics processes, and providing leadership. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
  • Supervise and manage warehouse / delivery staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, and inventory control procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment that complies with company policies and health & safety regulations.
  • Monitor KPIs (key performance indicators) such as order accuracy, picking / packing speed, inventory turnover, and shrinkage.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and the order desk teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Implement and improve warehouse processes, workflows, and technologies to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage warehouse equipment (forklifts, scanners, etc.) and ensure proper maintenance and usage.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with WSBC or other local safety regulations.
  • Create and maintain detailed reports on warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and productivity metrics.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience (typically 3–5+ years) as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Experience with logistics software, barcode / RFID systems, and ERP systems.
  • Solid leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Forklift certification (preferred or required, depending on location).
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or business is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and moving for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment (may include hot / cold temperatures, noise, dust, etc.).
