Job summary

A logistics service provider in Mississauga seeks a Warehouse Coordinator to effectively manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including customer order fulfillment and inventory oversight. The ideal candidate has at least two years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of warehouse processes, and holds a Forklift Certification. This full-time position offers an hourly rate of $25.00 for a fixed-term contract of 5 months.

Job description

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for effectively managing the day-to-day functions of the warehouse and all operations within, specifically managing all incoming customer orders and special requests from all departments within the organization.

Working Location: Hurontario St and 401, Mississauga
Hours of Work: 10:30am to 7pm. (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Hourly Rate: $25.00
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prioritize customer orders according to established guidelines.
  • Fulfill requests to move stock required for inspection, rework, etc. according to established guidelines.
  • Cancel orders and reverse work orders as required.
  • Track pending orders and address them as required and according to established guidelines.
  • Ensure cycle count activities are performed daily.
  • Use customer’s online portals as required to submit outbound shipments.
  • Ensure customer orders are shipped in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules.
  • Identify inventory discrepancies and act according to established guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse location database.
  • Investigate causes of lost or damaged shipments and other matters; make adjustments where necessary according to established guidelines.
  • Assist with customs paperwork.
KNOWLEDGE
  • A minimum of two (2) years of recent related experience including supply chain, logistics or materials management.
  • Direct working knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures.
  • Direct knowledge of WHMIS and other safety protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong familiarity with products.
  • Knowledge of JDE and Logistyx.
  • Must have Forklift Certification.
  • Must have knowledge of RF and barcode systems.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Management techniques and methods.
