We are currently looking for full-time Warehouse Associates, who will be working at our Nisku branch in Edmonton, five days a week from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products by hand or with basic material handling equipment;
• Operate a variety of equipment to unload, load, and move products;
• Weigh products, wrap goods, and pack and unpack products;
• Process incoming requisitions, including picking, checking, and packing orders;
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents;
• Ship orders;
• Restock bins;
• Maintain and organize inventory;
• Use the inventory control system to locate information, search orders, or investigate discrepancies;
• Clean the warehouse regularly;
• Perform other general warehouse duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Physically able to lift heavy shipments and products up to 50 lbs;
• Minimum 1 year experience operating Reach Trucks and 1 year experience with Order Pickers, industrial lift trucks, and pallet jacks;
• Good communication skills (verbal and written);
• Detail-oriented;
• Ability to work at a fast pace;
• Strong memory skills;
• Ability to operate a computerized inventory control system and use scan guns for picking is an asset;
• Team player with a positive attitude;
• Strong problem-solving skills;
• Steel-toed safety boots are required;
• One year of related experience is preferred, as training will be provided.
