What is the opportunity? This role is accountable for the strategy, management and delivery of the RBC Small Business Credit Cards product portfolio. The incumbent develops and executes cross‑partner strategies, stays up‑to‑date on Canada’s business landscape, and ensures RBC capitalises on emerging opportunities. They contribute to the overall financial goals and lead the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives.

What will you do?

  • Develop, execute and own the product strategy for the Small Business Credit Card portfolio.
  • Identify market trends that drive strategy, assess effectiveness, and recommend enhancements.
  • Create executive‑level presentations and business cases to support strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies focused on long‑term goals and profitability.
  • Identify performance trends and recommend initiatives to increase product competitiveness.
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships across Cards groups, Loyalty, Operations, Technology, Marketing and other teams to align enterprise goals.
  • Provide oversight on Business Review processes, including data analysis and reporting updates.
  • Maintain expertise of the competitive landscape to drive innovative thinking and differentiation.

  • Undergraduate degree with 3–5 years experience in business banking and product management.
  • Nice to have: Credit card industry experience, knowledge of credit card financial and analytical skills, awareness of Canada’s retail or business banking landscape, experience with external partners, technology/solutions acumen, focus on digital transformation and innovation.
