Job description

Reports to: Production Supervisor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized entry-level Vehicle Detailer at Clutch to oversee the final stage of our vehicle production process. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles, ensuring it meets our quality standards for clients!

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vehicle Cleaning and Detailing:
  • Perform interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and sanitizing.
  • Use appropriate tools, cleaning agents, and detailing techniques to ensure vehicles meet quality standards.
  1. Inspection and Quality Control:
  • Follow standardized methods of detailing meeting both quality and time targets.
  • Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any damage, defects, or areas requiring additional attention.
  • Ensure all detailing tasks are completed to company standards before delivery or production milestones.
  1. Product and Equipment Management:
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking as needed.
  • Operate and maintain detailing equipment safely and efficiently.
  1. Adherence to Safety and Standards:
  • Follow workplace safety guidelines and use protective equipment as required.
  • Adhere to all company protocols for handling chemicals and maintaining work areas.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to meet delivery and quality metrics.
  • Provide support for other production tasks when required.
  1. General Maintenance:
  • Keep detailing bays and work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • License: Minimum of a G2 Driver’s License (valid in Ontario).
  • Driving Record: Clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions.
  • Background Check: Clean criminal background check.
  • Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Location: Must be able to commute to Mississauga, Ontario.
  • Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.

  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail to ensure vehicles are cleaned and prepared to company standards.
  • Physically Fit: Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks, including bending and standing for extended periods.
