Job summary

A leading mining company is seeking a Specialist, Backfill in Kivalliq Region. You will coordinate backfilling activities, ensuring safety and efficiency while managing data and stakeholder collaboration. The ideal candidate has over 4 years of underground hard rock mining experience and proficiency in mine design software. This position includes 14 days of work followed by 14 days off, with accommodations and meals provided on-site.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in underground hard rock mining.
• 1+ years of experience with mine backfill, preferably with Cemented Paste Backfill and Cemented Rock Fill.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate backfilling operations among all stakeholders.
• Prepare plans and analyze data prior to and after paste pouring.
• Compile and verify production data, producing KPI reports.
