Overview

True Services Inc. (Alberta) is a growing company focused on interior and exterior maintenance and repairs for commercial and institutional projects. The Operations Manager will manage multiple projects, liaise with clients, subcontractors and manufacturers, and promote the company’s services within the region to secure new business. The role requires maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and ensuring adherence to company procedures and policies. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform field data collection, investigations, reviews, and report writing as required.
  • Assist in hiring and training new field staff and oversee field technicians and subtrade contractors.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers as needed.
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
  • Perform technical tasks with accuracy according to the scope of work.
  • Review project drawings and submittals; conduct on-site measurements and verification of dimensions as required.
  • Perform estimating, quoting, and job creation using company platforms.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings in accordance with the scope of work.
  • Resolve client issues promptly while supporting internal operations.
  • Manage contracts and contract administration for regional projects.
  • Oversee material and labor costing to support invoicing.
  • Identify and pursue prospective clients to develop new opportunities and relationships in the region.
  • Offer the company’s services to secure new and repeat business; maintain an updated client list on the company server.
  • Serve as a liaison between operations personnel and clients as required.
  • Participate in regional events and trade shows as required.
  • Support accounts receivable in collections as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education
  • Minimum High School Diploma; a post-secondary diploma or degree is an asset.
  • Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in construction and roofing industries.
  • Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in related industries.
  • Experience in business development, sales, and client management is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

  • Working at heights may be required depending on the scope of work.
  • Overtime may be required outside normal hours to meet position demands; regional focus with potential travel.
