Qualifications

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated safety leadership and commitment to high standards.
  • Five years of open-pit mining or training experience preferred.
  • 2-5 years of relevant leadership experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to motivate others.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to and promote safety and environmental standards.
  • Build and update training materials for Highland Valley Copper mine.
  • Track and report KPIs to the Lead Training Designer.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion in recruitment and retention practices.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
