Job Summary

Who are we: NAV CANADA is the world’s second-largest Air Navigation Service Provider. We are a private company that operates mission-critical systems essential to the safe and efficient management of over 12 million aircraft movements annually.

As a member of the Gander Technical Services Team, the Technologist Co-op Student will work alongside a team of dedicated and talented technologists on projects involving the installation and testing of critical hardware in support of NAV CANADA’s Air Navigation System (ANS) technology.

You’ll take on a diverse set of responsibilities that support the maintenance and operation of NAV CANADA’s technical systems. This includes assisting with equipment installations, updating engineering documentation, supporting system testing and troubleshooting, and contributing to the upkeep of electronic systems used in air traffic control and aircraft navigation.

During this work term, the student will support a variety of technical activities and be exposed to a wide range of technologies and systems that play a vital role in Canada’s aviation infrastructure.

  • Some overnight travel may be required
  • Driver’s license is required as you may be using company vehicles in the performance of your duties
