Job summary

A leading technology firm in Toronto is looking for an experienced Recruiter specializing in engineering roles. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of engineering recruitment experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment and a Bachelor’s degree. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of Engineering recruitment experience in a fast pace SaaS environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with multiple levels of the organization.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate into a talent strategy to source and identify the ideal candidate.
  • In-depth knowledge of the recruitment process, engineering trends, recruitment metrics and selection principles and practices.
  • Experience with an applicant tracking systems and online sourcing.
  • Flexibility and a sense of humour are a must.

What you’ll do:
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for specialized engineering roles, leveraging deep technical knowledge to deliver a high-caliber, diverse slate of talent while ensuring a "white-glove" candidate experience.
  • Consult with hiring managers to architect tailored recruitment plans, defining technical competencies and managing the full evaluation process from pre-assessments to final reference checks.
  • Build a robust network of passive engineering talent through continuous market research and relationship management, consistently raising the bar for technical excellence and team growth.
  • Drive "social recruiting" efforts by authentically storytelling Benevity’s mission and tech stack, engaging top-tier developers who align with the company’s unique engineering culture.
What you’ll bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of Engineering recruitment experience in a fast pace SaaS environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with multiple levels of the organization
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate into a talent strategy to source and identify the ideal candidate
  • In-depth knowledge of the recruitment process, engineering trends, recruitment metrics and selection principles and practices.
  • Experience with an applicant tracking systems and online sourcing, including Boolean search parameters Knowledge of, and experience in, a broad range of HR functions would be an asset
  • Able to multi-task and manage changing priorities
  • Flexibility and a sense of humour are a must
