Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is seeking a team member to inspect, grade, sort and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals. You will maintain an orderly work area to meet operational goals and may operate a forklift or skid steer as part of material movement.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with benefits including health, pension, boot allowance, company uniforms, and a monthly gain share bonus up to $300. Overtime is available.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, grades, sorts and processes ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals.

Wage

• $24.50 per hour

When

• Monday to Friday: 8am to 5:00pm

Role Expectations

• Performs the inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Maintains work location in orderly condition in order to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Operates counterbalance forklift and/or skid steer in accordance with operation policies and procedures ensuring efficient material movement
• Use computer system to input non-ferrous material codes and weight.
• Completes yard tickets and provides ticket to customer.
• Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all non-conforming material.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• The successful applicant will be subject a criminal background check.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment
• 1 year of experience operating fork lift or skid-steer (bob-cat), preferred but not required
