Triple M Metal LP in Brampton, Canada, is hiring a Team Member to inspect, grade, sort and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals and keep the work area orderly to meet operations goals.

The role requires operating a forklift or skid steer and using a computer system to input material codes and weights. Wage is $23.76 per hour with continental day shift; benefits include health, vision, dental, Life Ins., LTD/AD&D, a pension plan, boot allowance, uniforms and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment.
• 1 year of experience operating forklift or skid-steer (bobcat), preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Performs the inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Maintains work location in orderly condition to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Operates counterbalance forklift and/or skid steer in accordance with operation policies and procedures ensuring efficient material movement
• Use computer system to input non-ferrous material codes and weight.
• Completes yard tickets and provides tickets to customers.
• Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all non-conforming material.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• The successful applicant will be subject to a criminal background check.

The Team Member will be responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals and maintains work location in orderly condition to achieve operational goals and objectives. When:

• Continental Day Shift 6:45 A.M. to 6:45 P.M
• 1st Week: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• 2nd Week: Wednesday, Thursday
