Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is hiring for a production-friendly yard position in Canada. You will inspect, grade, and sort ferrous and non-ferrous scrap, input material codes and weights, and maintain an orderly yard to meet operational goals. The role emphasizes customer service and safety in a fast-paced environment.

One year of relevant experience is requested, with forklift or skid-steer experience preferred. Work hours are days, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with benefits and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment.
• 1 year of experience operating forklift or skid-steer (bob-cat), preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs the inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Maintains work location in orderly condition in order to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Break down commodities to the required size in accordance with the specifications.
• Use computer system to input material codes and weight.
• Completes yard tickets and provides ticket to customer.
• Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all non-conforming material.
• Provides exceptional customer service.

Compensation

• $21.16 per hour

• Days Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
