Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is seeking a General Labourer to inspect, grade, sort, and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals at our facility. The role requires maintaining an orderly work area and supporting efficient material movement using a counterbalance forklift or skid steer.

Ideal candidates have about 1 year of relevant experience, must pass a criminal background check, and may participate in training for growth within our growing North American network.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in production, warehouse, or landscaping environments.
• Criminal background check required with no adverse findings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, grade, sort and process scrap metals (ferrous and non-ferrous).
• Maintain an orderly work area to meet operational goals.
• Operate counterbalance forklift and skid steer per policies.
• Support material movement and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

The General Labourer will be responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals and maintains work location in orderly condition in order to achieve operational goals and objectives. There is 3 vacancy for this position.

When:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Saturdays - As needed

Role Expectations:

• Performs the inspecting, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Maintains work location in orderly condition in order to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Operates counterbalance forklift and/or skid steer in accordance with operation policies and procedures ensuring efficient material movement
• Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all non-conforming material.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment
• 1 year of experience operating fork lift or skid-steer (bob-cat), preferred but not required
