Job summary

Triple M Metal LP in Brampton, Canada, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to run excavator, front end loader and rock truck, load scrap, and sort materials while maintaining safety standards.

The position offers an alternating 7:00 AM–7:00 PM schedule, with wages ranging from CAD 27.82 to CAD 29.22 per hour, plus benefits, pension, boot allowance, uniforms, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• OSSD or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating excavator, front end loader, and rock truck.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including Excavator, Scrap Handler, Front End Loader.
• Operate attachments (e.g. Grapple, Magnet).
• Load scrap metal as assigned and sort, stack, and process materials.
• Maintain a safe and orderly working environment and perform pre‑op checks.
• Complete equipment documentation and use radio/communication devices as required.
• Assist with general duties as assigned by Manager.

Compensation: Based on experience. Between the range of $27.82 -$29.22

When:

Days – Alternating Schedule

• • Week 1 7:00AM to 7:00PM Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Week 2 7:00AM to 7:00PM Wednesday & Thursday

What’s Expected:

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including Excavator, Scrap Handler, Front End Loader
• Operate various attachments as assigned (e.g. Grapple, Magnet etc.);
• Load scrap metal as assigned;
• Sort, stack, process materials as directed;
• Clean, lubricate, check and replenish fluids as directed;
• Complete pre-operational equipment check and other documentation as assigned;
• Operate two-way radio or other communication devices as required;
• Maintain a safe and orderly working environment;
• Other general duties as assigned by Manager.

What's Required:

• Must exhibit Triple M Metal LP's Core Values of Respect, Excellence, Integrity, Team and Pride;
• Previous experience operating Excavator, Front End Loader, Rock Truck;
• Must have a valid Driver’s License;
• Strong communication both written and verbal;
• OSSD or equivalent is preferred but not required.
