Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is hiring a Picker to inspect materials and remove non-conforming items to meet quality specs. Work involves operating a forklift, skid steer, or bobcat and performing routine preventive maintenance as needed, with manual handling tasks as required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse, distribution or machine operating experience.
• 1 year of experience operating forklift or skid-steer (bobcat).

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly inspects materials and removes non-conforming materials to ensure quality specifications.
• Operates forklift, skid steer or bobcat safely and in line with policies.
• Performs general preventative maintenance on equipment as prescribed.
• Performs manual labour duties including lifting, sorting, and moving materials.

The Picker is responsible for thoroughly inspecting materials and removing non-conforming materials in accordance with operational policies and procedures to ensure all materials meet established quality specifications.

Wage

• $25.61 per hour

When

(Days, Afternoons, Nights)

Days

• Monday- Thursday 6:00AM-2:45PM
• Friday- 6:00AM-1:15PM

Afternoons

• Monday-Thursday 2:15PM-10:45PM
• Friday- 12:45PM-7:45PM

Nights

• Monday- Thursday 10:15PM-6:45AM
• Friday- 7:30PM-2:30AM

Role Expectations

• Thoroughly inspects materials and picks (removes) non-conforming materials in accordance with operational policies and procedures in order to ensure that material conforms to established quality specifications
• Ensures the effective and efficient operation of the forklift, skid steer or bobcat equipment in accordance with operational policies and procedures
• Performs general preventative maintenance on the forklift, bobcat or skid steer equipment; based on prescribed procedures
• Performs manual labour duties, including lifting, sorting, moving and handling materials as required to support daily operations

You Have

• 1 year of warehouse, distribution or machine operating experience
• 1 year of experience operating forklift or skid-steer (bobcat), (preferred but not required)
