Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is hiring for multiple yard positions at our Brampton facility. You will inspect, grade, sort and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals and keep the work area orderly to achieve operational goals.

We offer benefits including health, vision, dental; a pension plan; boot allowance; uniforms; overtime; and a $23.76 per hour wage on continental day shift (6:45 AM–6:45 PM) with weekly schedules.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in production, warehouse or landscaping environment.
• 1 year of experience operating forklift or skid-steer is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, grade, sort and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Maintain an orderly work location to achieve operational goals.
• Operate counterbalance forklift and/or skid steer per policies and procedures.
• Input non-ferrous material codes and weight into the computer system.
• Complete yard tickets and provide tickets to customers.
• Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing non-conforming material.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Subject to a criminal background check.

The Team Member will be responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals and maintains work location in orderly condition to achieve operational goals and objectives. Wage

• Continental Day Shift 6:45 A.M. to 6:45 P.M
• 1st Week: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• 2nd Week: Wednesday, Thursday

Role Expectations

• Performs the inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Maintains work location in orderly condition to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Operates counterbalance forklift and/or skid steer in accordance with operation policies and procedures ensuring efficient material movement
• Use computer system to input non-ferrous material codes and weight.
• Completes yard tickets and provides tickets to customers.
• Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all non-conforming material.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• The successful applicant will be subject to a criminal background check.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment
• 1 year of experience operating forklift or skid-steer (bobcat), preferred but not required
