Job summary

Triple M Metal LP in Ontario is seeking a Team Member to inspect, grade, sort, and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals. You will help maintain an orderly yard and contribute to efficient material flow, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm, competitive hourly pay of $24.50, benefits, and a path to grow with North America's leading scrap recycler. Applicants must pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in production, warehouse, or landscaping.
• 1 year of forklift or skid-steer experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, grades, sorts, and processes ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Maintains an orderly work location to meet goals.
• Operates counterbalance forklift and/or skid steer per policies.
• Uses computer system to input material codes and weight.
• Completes yard tickets and provides ticket to customer.
• Processes materials by commodity and removes non-conforming material.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• Criminal background check will be conducted.

The Team Member will be responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals and maintains work location in orderly condition in order to achieve operational goals and objectives. Wage:

• $24.50 per hour

Role Expectations:

• Performs the inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Maintains work location in orderly condition in order to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Operates counterbalance forklift and/or skid steer in accordance with operation policies and procedures ensuring efficient material movement
• Use computer system to input non-ferrous material codes and weight.
• Completes yard tickets and provides ticket to customer.
• Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all non-conforming material.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• The successful applicant will be subject a criminal background check.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment
• 1 year of experience operating fork lift or skid-steer (bob-cat), preferred but not required
