Job summary

Triple M Metal LP in Canada seeks a Team Member to inspect, grade, sort and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals and keep the yard orderly to meet objectives.

You will operate a forklift or skid steer, input non-ferrous codes into the computer system and prepare yard tickets for customers while delivering exceptional service. The role includes overtime and a strong work ethic is valued.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in production, warehouse or landscaping environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, grade, sort and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Maintain an orderly work location to achieve operational goals.
• Operate counterbalance forklift and/or skid steer following policies and procedures.
• Use computer system to input non-ferrous material codes and weight.
• Complete yard tickets and provide tickets to customers.
• Process materials by breaking down by commodity and removing non-conforming material.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Background check may be required.

We are transforming the way we work and want you to be a part of it. The Team Member will be responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals and maintains work location in orderly condition in order to achieve operational goals and objectives.

Wage:

• $21.16 per hour

When:

• Monday to Friday: 8am to 4:30pm
• Every Saturday: 8am - 12:00pm

Role Expectations:

• Performs the inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Maintains work location in orderly condition in order to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Operates counterbalance forklift and/or skid steer in accordance with operation policies and procedures ensuring efficient material movement
• Use computer system to input non-ferrous material codes and weight.
• Completes yard tickets and provides ticket to customer.
• Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all non-conforming material.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• The successful applicant will be subject a criminal background check.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment
• 1 year of experience operating fork lift or skid-steer (bob-cat), preferred but not required
