Role Overview

Defence Construction Canada is seeking a confident, self‑driven Team Leader, Construction Services to support a growing site. You will own day‑to‑day leadership, work independently with an off‑site manager, and make informed decisions in a dynamic environment. Travel to other sites at least twice per month will be required to align with the broader team.

Key Periodic Activities
  • Oversee a team managing construction, professional services and service contracts to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, and DCC contract management policies and processes
  • Solve complex problems within delegated authority
  • Facilitate contract‑related coordination and communications between stakeholders (e.g. contractors, consultants, Client‑Partners)
  • Promote and manage business development opportunities
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships within DCC, and with industry, the Client Partners and/or stakeholders
  • Ensure quality standards are met, in line with corporate and Client‑Partner expectations
  • Manage risk
  • Perform human resources functions (e.g. coach, supervise, mentor, plan and allocate resources, and manage performance)

Formal Education and/or Certification(s) And Experience
  • Minimum: college diploma in engineering, architecture or related field with five years’ relevant experience, or the equivalent
