What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escal in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and checkvisitoridentification
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Ontario security license
• WSIB approved First Aid and CPR level C required
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk throughoutshift
