Summer 2026 Work Term

Term Length: 4 months

Term Start: May 4, 2026

Term End: August 21, 2026

The pay range for the co‑op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role.

Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

About the Role

As a Summer Student in Supply Chain Strategy, you will be a part of the Supply Chain organization, supporting strategic initiatives that help shape the future of Loblaw’s Supply Chain network. This role is designed to provide hands‑on exposure to strategy development, business analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration within one of Canada’s largest and most complex supply chains.

You will work closely with Supply Chain leaders and strategy partners to analyze data, assess opportunities, and support initiatives focused on network optimization, process improvement, performance measurement, and long‑term planning. This role offers a unique opportunity to understand how strategy is translated into action at scale.

What you’ll do
  • Assist in the development and evaluation of strategic plans and projects in Supply Chain, including research, analysis, and preparation of presentations
  • Analyze and synthesize data and information from various internal and external sources
  • Support cross‑functional initiatives by coordinating inputs from operations, analytics, and finance teams
  • Participate in planning sessions, working groups, and stakeholder meetings to capture insights, track action items, and document outcomes
  • Prepare clear, concise summaries and recommendations to support decision‑making for senior leadership
What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Analytics, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong interest in Supply Chain strategy, operations, and business analysis
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights
  • Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to conduct quantitative analysis and support presentations
  • Effective and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Confidence and maturity to interact and collaborate with team members and business leaders
  • Polished demeanor and a high degree of professionalism
  • Effective time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Self‑motivated to produce quality work with minimal supervision

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche: $35,100.00 - $65,000.00 per year / par an.
