Adecco is currently hiring a permanent experienced Supply Chain Logistics Specialist to work in Dartmouth, NS. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the supply chain process to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and efficient flow of products and materials from suppliers to customers.

Location : Dartmouth, NS

Shifts : 8 : 00am – 4 : 00pm

Job type : Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities :

Procurement : Negotiation with suppliers, identifying new potential suppliers, managing claims with suppliers, recording of all information in our ERP system, issuing Purchase Orders, reconciling PO / Invoices (ERP and supporting system), downloading invoices from suppliers’ websites and providing those invoices to the Finance Team

Logistics : Coordinating the logistics with our national and overseas suppliers. Organizing with our customs agents the import taxes / documents support of shipments, organizing our logistic partners the shipments of all our overseas imports (usually maritime containers).

Warehouse : Checking all goods bought from our suppliers are received. Inventory Control.

Qualifications :

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

2-5 years experience in a Supply Chain Logistics role

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of logistics software and systems

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Candidates must be eligible to obtain Government of Canada Security and Controlled Goods Clearances, which are granted exclusively to Permanent Residents or Canadian Citizens.
