Student, Report & Dissemination Analyst – Hybrid
The Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) is recruiting a Summer Student to join the talented team at the Alberta Geologic Survey (AGS). At the AGS, we are accountable for the delivery of geological and regulatory data. The Regulatory Data Delivery team is dedicated to disseminating data externally to a diverse group of stakeholders.
As a Student, Report & Dissemination Analyst, you manage confidential data and support information sharing. You will collaborate with senior staff on gathering requirements and prepare AER data products using FME, SQL Studio, and Microsoft 365. The final output will be publicly accessible via AER Products & Services Catalogue.
The position offers practical experience with oil and gas data, emphasizing lifecycle processes and effective data management. Under the guidance from senior team members, you will have the opportunity to learn or enhance your technical data analysis capabilities. Additionally, this role allows for development of essential business acumen and professional conduct within an office environment.
