About Us

The student Project Engineer will support the Project Manager and broader team in planning, coordination, and technical execution on a multi-discipline mining project. This is a developmental role offering hands-on experience with engineering design systems, project delivery practices, and technical communication.

Main Accountabilities
  • Assist with coordination across engineering disciplines to support safe, cost-effective, and technically sound designs.
  • Participate in technical reviews and help maintain design quality and compliance with engineering standards.
  • Coordinate and support the Request for Information (RFI) process by tracking incoming RFIs from the engineering firm, gathering input from relevant team members, and assisting in drafting or reviewing responses to ensure timely and accurate technical communication
  • Help monitor and update project schedules, deliverables, and milestones under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Organize and maintain project drawings, specifications, and technical records in alignment with internal data management systems.
  • Assist in tracking technical changes and version control of documents
  • Participate in team meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items as assigned.
  • Communicate with designers, engineers, and document control to support clear, timely exchange of information.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for technical peer reviews or design coordination sessions.
  • Learn and apply project management systems and tools used by the EPCM and owner’s teams.
