Role

The Strategy Associate role is a dynamic position that will give you exposure to many different departments and companies at CORA. You will work collaboratively with senior management to focus on driving operational excellence, applying best practices, and improving financial insights and performance. You will work on analytical projects and consulting projects for different business units ensuring business unit leadership has the data and information required to make critical business decisions, define strategies, and improve operations. This role also designs, develops, and maintains performance measurements, models, and reports on strategic input drivers to continuously improve the performance of the business.

Team

This role will be part of the CORA Strategy team and will work closely on a day-to-day basis with the Strategy Manager, Director, EVP, Portfolio CEO and General Managers. This position will work cross functionally with operations, finance, technology, and sales to drive improvements across the business.

Position Breakdown
  • Manage and execute ambiguous internal consulting engagements, supporting CEOs with organic growth initiatives, strategic planning, and pricing projects – including framing problems, gathering and analyzing data, generating insights, and delivering executive ready recommendations.
  • Conduct data-driven opportunity assessments and convert analysis into specific initiatives that drive recurring revenue and profitability.
  • Understand the dynamics of new industries, products, customer segments, and operational models quickly. Perform in-depth market sizing, trend evaluation, and competitive analysis to shape business strategies.
  • Develop effective pricing strategies and build forecasting models to support growth initiatives such as launching new products and/or geographical expansions.
  • Participate in integration projects working closely with the integration lead to ensure goals are met in accordance with the investment thesis and analysis is conducted timely to meet investment return.
  • Maintain disciplined project oversight, proactively drive follow-ups, and monitor essential KPIs to ensure recommendations translate into measurable outcomes.
  • Facilitate strategy workshops that enable leaders to align priorities, challenge assumptions, and commit to execution.
  • Contribute meaningfully to the evolution of the strategy team by collaborating with the senior team members and actively contributing ideas & insights.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of consulting experience or comparable including corporate strategy/development, investment banking, private equity, or similar in technology/software industry.
  • Demonstrated skills in strategic analysis, planning, and problem solving.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to develop PowerPoint presentations and communicate effectively with senior audiences.
  • Ability to conduct complex quantitative analyses (e.g. Excel modeling).
  • Learning mindset.
  • B2B software industry experience considered an asset.
