Job summary

A leading community service organization in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to provide HR counsel across management levels. The role requires a minimum of three years in HR, ideally within a unionized environment, to deliver strategic HR support and enhance employee relations. The successful candidate will promote best practices and develop collaborative relationships throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years HR Generalist experience in a unionized environment.
  • Foundational knowledge of HR/LR best practices.
  • Knowledge of provincial employment law and collective agreement administration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR counsel to management on HR and employee relations matters.
  • Act as primary HR contact for assigned functional client groups.
  • Support organizational development responsibilities.
