Job summary

FLSmidth in the Vancouver area seeks a Capital Sales Manager to lead the sales strategy for pumps, cyclones and valves in North America. You will develop and maintain regional client networks, engage EPCM offices, and translate mine needs into strong technical proposals.

Travel up to 50% is expected as you represent FLSmidth at conferences and site visits, coordinate with global mining teams, manage complex proposals through to order, and hand over to operations on project handoff to secure

Qualifications

• Degree/certification in a relevant field preferred.
• Understanding of how mining projects are permitted, developed, financed and executed.
• 8+ years of demonstrated sales or project delivery experience in mining.

Responsibilities

• Build regional network and align with Global Key Account Management for local account management.
• Lead project-pursuit strategy, maintain pipeline, travel to events, and oversee proposals to order.
