Job description
Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self‑motivated finance professional with a strong analytical mindset, proven ability to analyze large data sets, and concisely communicate key business insights to senior stakeholders. This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Marketing Finance and support financial planning, performance measurement, and investment decision‑making across the full marketing funnel. This role is highly analytical, with a core focus on evaluating how marketing activities drive performance through three key funnels:

  • Early Funnel: Brand awareness, education programs, top‑of‑funnel engagement
  • Digital Funnel: Digital acquisition and conversion through the Autodesk Digital Store
  • Lead Flow Funnel: Marketing‑generated leads and their progression through Sales

You will partner closely with Marketing Finance and Marketing Analytics teams to build insights and models that help Marketing make smarter, more data‑driven decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to sit at the intersection of Marketing, Finance, and Analytics—turning complex data into business impact.

This position will report to the Sr Director, Marketing Finance, and it will be 100% remote in Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Support monthly and quarterly business reviews by preparing performance summaries, dashboards, and financial insights.
  • Track program‑level ROI, CAC, payback, funnel efficiency, and contribution to pipeline and bookings.
  • Develop automated reporting solutions (in Excel/Sheets, Tableau, Sigma, or other tools) to improve visibility into funnel performance, spend levels, trade‑offs, and ROI expectations.
  • Work with Digital Store and E‑Commerce teams to understand drivers of digital acquisition, self‑serve conversion, and transactional growth.
  • Collaborate with Sales Finance to connect Marketing lead performance with downstream sales outcomes and pipeline coverage.
  • Translate complex data sets into actionable recommendations for marketing leaders.
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Marketing Analytics, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills; comfortable working with funnel metrics and multi‑step conversion models.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and communicate effectively with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Highly proficient in Excel/Sheets; experience with analytical tools such as Anaplan, Sigma, Tableau/Power BI, or Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Experience supporting marketing, digital, or GTM functions preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Ideal Candidate
  • You are a self‑starter who enjoys connecting data, finding insights, and building and improving processes.
  • You take action and are eager to analyze data to make decisions.
  • You value accountability and take responsibility for your work, your improvement areas, and your career path.
