January 5, 2026 to June 29, 2026

Temporary position replacing a leave of absence

The successful teacher will provide leadership and support as part of a collaborative team to effectively meet the needs of students with diverse learning profiles.

Responsibilities And Expectations
  • The ability to provide flexible programming for a diverse group of learners with mild to severe learning profiles.
  • Commitment to supporting inclusive learning environments at a variety of grade levels for students with complex learning needs.
  • A focus on supporting students in their various areas of development based on strengths and interests for areas of growth.
  • The ability to organize and facilitate student access to contracted service providers such as Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech services.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Eligible for an Alberta Professional Teaching certificate, additional training or experience in the field of special education will be an asset.
  • Successful teaching experience.
  • Experience in teaching students with complex learning and/or behavioural profiles.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to positively interact with a team.
