Your future role
Take on a new challenge and leverage your expertise in mechanical engineering and leadership in a cutting-edge field.
As a Domain Leader, you play a key role in managing and developing the Specialized Disciplines team, ensuring the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and the Technical Business Framework.
You have a general knowledge of train mechanical architecture, interface management, crashworthiness, mechanical integration, systems engineering, materials, and project management (quality, cost, schedule) and are recognized for your engaging leadership qualities—you are our ideal candidate.
This position, based at our Kingston, Ontario site, is a full-time permanent role (40 hours/week) - ability to work in an international, multi-site, matrix organization. Hybrid work environment – 3 days on-site.
You will be in charge to
Your mission
· Exercise methodical, collaborative, and proactive technical leadership
· Maintain close collaboration with the Technical Design teams, Central Engineering, and Workload Management
· Meet established standards for quality, productivity, and satisfaction of internal and external clients
· Contribute to any continuous improvement/lessons learned (REX) projects from previous projects
