L’équipe de structure de bâtiments est actuellement à la recherche d’un(e) Spécialiste en ingénierie pour soutenir la croissance du bureau et de l’équipe, basé(e) à Montréal, Toronto ou Ottawa.

Votre rôle au sein de l’équipe :

• Participer activement à la conception et à la préparation des plans et devis (acier, béton, bois, maçonnerie, etc.).
• Réaliser des études, relevés, rapports techniques et inspections structurales.
• Superviser l’exécution des travaux de structure pendant la phase de construction.
• Veiller à ce que les travaux d’ingénierie soient réalisés selon les normes de qualité de l’industrie et en conformité avec le Code national du bâtiment et le Code du bâtiment de l’Ontario.
• Coordonner les projets ayant un impact sur votre conception structurale avec les autres disciplines (mécanique, électricité, architecture, procédés, etc.).
• Maintenir et développer les relations avec les clients et les parties prenantes.

Profil idéal :

• Baccalauréat en génie civil. Une maîtrise en génie des structures est un atout.
• Membre de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) ou admissible à l’inscription.
• Trois à sept ans d’expérience pertinente dans un rôle similaire, de préférence. Solide expérience avec les logiciels de conception structurale (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.).
• Souci du détail et capacité à gérer les priorités changeantes. Excellentes compétences organisationnelles, en communication et en résolution de problèmes.
• Excellente maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit. Ce poste nécessite la connaissance d’une langue autre que le français, à savoir l’anglais, car il implique une collaboration avec des membres de l’équipe canadienne situés à l’extérieur du Québec.

The Structural Building Team is currently looking for an Engineering Specialist to support the growth of the office and the team based out of either Montreal, Toronto or Ottawa.

Your role in the team:

• Actively participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications (steel, concrete, wood, masonry, etc.).
• Conduct studies, surveys, technical reports and structural inspections.
• Supervise the execution of structural work during the construction phase.
• Ensure that the engineering work is produced according to the quality standards of the industry and respect the National Building Code and Ontario Building Code.
• Coordinate projects that impact your structural design with the other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, architecture, process, etc.).
• Maintain and develop client and stakeholder relationships.

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering is an asset.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible to be registered.
• Three to seven years of previous related experience in a similar role is preferred. Strong experience with structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.).
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage changing priorities. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both French & English, spoken and written. This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as it involves collaboration with members of the Canadian Capabilities team located outside Québec.
