Responsibilities
- Identify organizational needs and develop effective training programs focused on performance and learning for assigned portfolios to support business strategies.
- Develop, promote, maintain, and actively manage training programs, including periodic reviews, analyzing program results, providing feedback, and recommending improvements.
- Ensure all components of the program are executed effectively, including change management and communication plans.
- Act as a trusted advisor for assigned programs and use influence and negotiation skills to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging issues to inform decision-making and evaluate program effectiveness, recommending necessary changes.
- Design measurable retention strategies, assess and recommend risk mitigation solutions, and prioritize stakeholder opportunities.
- Define and recommend learning strategies aligned with business objectives and participate in short and long-term planning.
- Conduct independent analyses and evaluations to resolve strategic issues and provide insights and recommendations.
- Monitor program performance, address issues, and investigate risks, documenting observations and escalating concerns to senior management.
- Support the development and implementation of learning strategies, ensuring key objectives are met and aligned with overall corporate goals.
- Design and manage effective learning and performance solutions, including assessing client needs and determining delivery methods.
- Participate in various projects and initiatives to support strategic business implementations within timelines and budgets while maintaining quality.
- Provide training courses and programs for leaders and employees to achieve performance goals, including facilitating sessions.
- Establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure alignment.
- Manage vendor relationships, conduct evaluations, monitor KPIs, and ensure service agreements and budgets are respected.
- Support strategic initiatives, monitor key indicators, and manage change activities.
- Assist in crafting personalized communication messages, including writing, reviewing, and transmitting communications.
- Continuously monitor sector developments and update programs to remain competitive and effective.
- Focus primarily on a specific business sector or operational group within BMO, with flexibility for broader organizational orientation.
- Provide specialized advice, technical support, and analysis.
- Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within established limits.
- Work independently, managing non-routine situations, with potential for broader tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Typically 5-7 years of relevant professional experience with post-secondary education in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in program development and facilitation, with expert-level skills.
- Strong program management skills.

- Deep technical knowledge acquired through extensive education or work experience.

69,000.00 - 129,000.00 CAD

The above represents the salary range and compensation type at BMO Groupe financier. Salaries vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications, and may include commissions. Salaries for part-time roles are prorated. For commission roles, the above salary is BMO's target for the first year.
