We are looking for experienced and engaging professionals who ideally have worked in the housing field and who thrive on strategic, analytical, and collaborative opportunities and challenges in housing. In this role, you should be a critical thinker who can lead strategic research, assist with designing programs and performance measures, write and analyze policy and procedures, and analyze complex systems to drive evidence‑based decisions to support housing and homelessness priorities. You should be able to use data to develop actionable insights, build and maintain relationships not just from your desk but going into communities to engage directly with others as needed, and have exceptional communication skills. In this role, you’ll benefit from the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement that prioritises meaningful in‑person connection. A minimum of two days per week on‑site is expected, with additional in‑person presence as operational needs evolve. This arrangement blends in‑person and hybrid work and can change over time.
Off‑site work must be within the province of Ontario to remain compliant with regulations and policies. The Region of Peel offers job‑based flexible hours to accommodate personal and professional responsibilities while meeting business operational needs and customer service expectations.
