Charlotte’s Webmaster: AlgaeCal is looking for a Full Stack Development Lead to bring their wizardry to our fun-loving Dev team. This is a leadership role to guide a small team of intermediate/associate developers with strong full-stack capabilities in a fast-growing eCommerce environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of intermediate/associate developers and contribute as a full-stack engineer.
- Develop and maintain front-end and back-end systems, with emphasis on the Shopify ecosystem (including Hydrogen and Shopify APIs) and WordPress templates.
- Build and deploy features for web applications, ensuring clean architecture and robust integration between Shopify, Salesforce, and other systems via Node.js middleware.
- Design and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs; work across both front-end and back-end domains.
- Participate in architecture discussions, select technologies, and ensure code quality with a focus on maintainability and scalability.
- Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to deliver value to users and demonstrate impact through metrics.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a software development role; proven ability to lead a team of 2-3 intermediate/associate developers.
- Demonstrated proficiency with React, Typescript, and Node.js.
- Experience in the Shopify ecosystem, including Hydrogen and Shopify APIs; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Storage, BigQuery) is a plus.
- Strong know-how to support and maintain Node.js middleware integrating Shopify and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience developing and deploying features for WordPress blogs and website templates; strong knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- A thick portfolio showing mastery across development areas; familiarity with hexagonal architecture and domain-driven design is preferred.
- Excellent bug-resolution skills and the ability to work independently while meeting clear KPIs.
