Social Impact and Engagement Operations Coordinator

This is a 6-month contract. Hybrid working model of 4 days’ onsite.

Who- the Company:

Exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing international Vancouver based company and one of Vancouver’s finest! Our client is a people‑centric organization and known for its collaborative team culture.

What- the Role:

Reporting to Senior Manager, Social Impact Operations, you will provide overall administrative, logistical, and event support to ensure smooth functioning across the team. You are the principal scheduler, planner, and coordinator for Social Impact and Engagement leadership, working across the team and cross‑functionally with other departments.

Day to Day Operations of the Social Impact and Engagement team
  • Coordinate team administrative tasks such as file and calendar management.
  • Maintain and organize team records, including sending agenda items and minutes before and after team and select meetings.
  • Maintain current expense tracking and general procurement such as invoicing, and vendor set up.
  • Provide light writing and copy support for team communications, event materials, and internal documents.
  • Assist in executing internal and external events related to social impact and engagement initiatives including coordinating logistics like venue booking, catering, setup, and materials preparation.
  • Serve as on‑site support during events to ensure smooth operations.
  • Liaise with vendors and partners as required.
Administrative Support to Social Impact and Engagement Leadership
  • Coordinate meetings and contacts for team leadership.
  • Coordinate and send meeting invitations and agendas to attendees, book meeting rooms and arrange for IT resources and refreshments in support of efficient meeting facilitation.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate leadership travel.
  • Support leadership’s expense submission and approval process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Who – the Candidate:
  • 2+ years experience in administration or operations capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business or the equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in AP invoicing or a strong appetite to learn and master.
  • Experience juggling cyclical projects with one‑off initiatives and effectively prioritizing.
  • Proficient in MS Suite, and experienced user in MS Excel.
How Much:

Hourly rate of $35–$39.90/hr commensurate with experience + 4% vacation pay.
