Qualifications

  • Minimum two to five years progressive experience in most facets of lending and sales in retail and small business.
  • Working knowledge of consumer and residential mortgage lending practices and products.
  • Experience working and developing relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective sales and marketing efforts for Small Business loan growth.
  • Provide credit-based Business solutions within Small Business lending limit.
  • Support Retail Branches on product knowledge for Small Business.

What You’ll Be Doing

The scope of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain effective sales and marketing efforts to maximize Small Business loan growth, deposit growth and sales of peripheral products to help our members succeed in business
  • Understand and be proficient in our current Business Banking and Retail Banking products and services, relevant policies, and legislation by regularly reviewing literature, attending meetings and training sessions
  • Provide credit-based Business solutions within your Small Business lending limit
  • Support Retail Branches through meetings and/or conference calls on product knowledge for Small Business

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work full time while the Small Business Advisor Partner is away
  • Easily identify opportunities to create efficiencies within the partnership
  • Minimum two to five years progressive experience in most facets of lending and sales in retail and small business
  • Working knowledge of consumer and residential mortgage lending practices and products
  • Experience working and developing relationships with internal and external partners
  • Related post-secondary education an asset
