A prominent café in Courtenay is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food preparation. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience and must be able to train staff effectively. This full-time, permanent position includes a competitive wage, benefits, and paid vacation.

· Wage: $25.00~$29.00/hour (depending on experience)
· Number of Positions: 3
· 10 days paid vacation per year

Job Duties:
· Prepare a variety of foods according to standardized recipes
· Clean and sanitize kitchen and work areas
· Ensure food meets quality standard
· Maintain inventory and keep records of food, supplies and equipment
· Involve in the recruitment of kitchen staff and train them in preparation, cooking and handling of food
· Develop menus and determine portion sizes
· Oversee kitchen operations
Job requirements:
· Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
· Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
