Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Systems Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or product development for complex integrated systems.
• Demonstrated track record solving interdisciplinary problems in areas such as biochemical systems, image analysis, and microfluidics.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C/C++, or MATLAB.
• Experience with system requirements, interface specifications, and verification/validation plans.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Effective communication and collaborative skills in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize system-level features for the VitalOne platform.
• Maintain high uptime of Vital instrumentation through various issues.
• Develop and evaluate prototypes to inform design trade-offs.
• Plan and execute performance verification activities for new applications.
• Work with design teams to integrate new features into the system.
• Act as a stakeholder in designing interfaces based on engineering specifications.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality processes.
• Identify failure modes and perform root cause analysis.
• Contribute to high-quality documentation for system requirements and tests.
