Overview
Job Description: The Agile Coach/Scrum Master will provide subject matter expertise and guidance on project methods, deliver training on project delivery methodology, and implement IT standards and guidelines. The role requires strong leadership in Agile and DevOps practices, effective stakeholder management, and the ability to foster continuous improvement in teams.

Requirements
Experience
- 5+ years of experience leading technical and non-technical teams in a Scrum Master or related role, delivering software development projects using Agile methodology.
- Experience training and coaching teams on Agile processes and methodologies (Azure DevOps) to increase productivity.
- Proven ability to guide teams and organizations in adopting best Agile practices.
- Ability to identify and remove barriers and roadblocks.
- Experience tracking and communicating team velocity and sprint/release progress.
- Ability to maintain strong business focus with an understanding of the strategic direction of technologies.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating scrum ceremonies including grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Proven experience in stakeholder and team management, including executive-level influencing and effective change management.
- Experience creating executive dashboards, value statements, and documentation to demonstrate organizational efficiencies.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders and secure support for project deliverables.
- Preferred: Experience working with government clients and understanding governance processes.
Skills
- Knowledge of Agile Information and Information Technology (I&IT) methods and enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, consensus building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Experience facilitating relationships between Agile teams and product owners.
- Ability to lead development teams in self-organization and filling gaps in frameworks.
- Experience mentoring and coaching teams on removing impediments.
- Ability to capture feedback and document sprint reviews to improve performance.
Qualification And Education
- Project methodology certifications such as Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma XX/Green/Yellow Belt, or equivalent.
