We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to expand our buy-side presence in the North American market. This individual will be pivotal in driving enterprise sales of our OMS / PMS solutions to hedge funds and asset managers, building strategic partnerships and achieving aggressive growth targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enterprise Sales: Own the entire sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Lead Generation: Develop a strong pipeline through cold outreach, networking and leveraging existing business relationships.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand client challenges and position Athena’s solutions as value‑driven tools for operational excellence.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain a network of business partners, leveraging relationships to generate new opportunities.
  • Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor offerings to position Athena as the partner of choice.
  • Pipeline Management: Track and manage sales activities through CRM tools (Salesforce) to ensure consistent progress toward targets.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in enterprise sales, particularly in selling technology solutions to hedge funds and asset managers.
  • OMS / PMS Sales Expertise: Experience selling OMS / PMS systems or similar buy-side fintech solutions is highly preferred.
  • Resilience & Tenacity: Ability to generate leads through cold outreach and manage long sales cycles with persistence.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of buy-side trading operations, compliance, and accounting requirements and technology needs.
  • Consultative Approach: Ability to engage with clients at all levels and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate value propositions and close deals effectively.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) for tracking sales activities, forecasting and performance analysis.
  • Growth Mindset: Demonstrable experience of Objection Handling, Continuous Learning, Sales Problem Solving and Building Long-Term Customer Relationships.
