Key Requirements
  • 3‑5 years of experience in project management within a marketing agency or similar environment.
  • Project and resource management (including accreditation if available).
  • Experience managing and leading teams.
  • Excellent written and oral skills.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Post‑secondary credentials in an applicable technology or design field.
  • Proficient in an Apple and Google Drive environment.
  • Quickly learn new software (reporting, tracking, etc.).

Responsibilities
  • Develop strong “trust‑based” client relationships.
  • Keep project records up to date using appropriate software.
  • Convey a passion for project success from start to finish and take necessary actions to ensure that success.
  • Work with clients in a variety of industries to execute new projects and marketing initiatives.
  • Create marketing strategies, creative briefs and schedules to be implemented across web / search / social / video / photography + branding.
  • Develop and present account strategies to clients, followed by their successful implementation.
  • Maintain ongoing client communications and obtain approvals to keep projects on‑time and within budget.
  • Develop a Gantt chart for all ongoing projects across the team of resources.
  • Create new ideas and programs that customers can use to generate online leads and sales.
  • Upsell customers new services that Candybox offers.
  • Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, CRM platforms, marketing automation software).
  • Data analysis and interpretation.
  • Adaptability to emerging technologies.
  • Ethical use of AI and data privacy awareness.
  • Problem‑solve medium‑large size client issues with minimal support.
  • Serve and build strong relationships with larger accounts as assigned.
  • Take initiative to build and foster ongoing open communication with your Director, CEO and COO.
  • Demonstrate a holistic view of the company with keen attention to the development and implementation of ideas for growth and extraordinary success.
  • Foster and create a safe and positive environment of collaboration where team members can express ideas and work together to succeed on projects.
  • Lead meetings, prepare and present meeting agendas, conduct wrap‑ups and follow‑ups.
  • Take overall accountability for project success.
  • Expand your existing knowledge base beyond the essential scope of your role.
  • Develop and implement advanced marketing strategies and role expertise.
  • Provide support/coaching on small tasks/issues for the department team members as needed or called upon by the Team Lead, CEO or COO.
  • Assist the sales teams with meetings/numbers as needed or called upon by the Sales Team or Team Lead.
  • Lead 3‑4 key initiatives per year (e.g., assist the sales team with the creation of new services).
