A leading technology consulting firm located in Toronto, Canada, is seeking a Senior Programmer/Developer - Oracle BRM Lead. The role involves working closely with a team to implement a Global Billing Solution on the Oracle BRM platform. Candidates should have 7-10 years of experience in software development, with proficiency in Oracle BRM and PL/SQL. Primary Responsibility: The Oracle BRM Software Developer will work closely with Business Analysts, Architects, QE and OPS to implement a Global Billing Solution on the Oracle BRM platform. Responsibilities also include working closely with stakeholders to demonstrate expertise and functional knowledge, ensuring deliverables meet business objectives and best practices.
Candidates should be flexible and willing to work across the delivery landscape, which includes, but is not limited to, Agile Applications Development, Support, and Deployment.
Responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, gathering requirements, fixing bugs, testing, documenting, and implementing software systems. Experienced programmers are also responsible for interpreting architecture and design, conducting code reviews, mentoring, and guiding programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies, testing, and release.
Supervise, train, mentor junior level programmers in programming and program coding. Represent team in project meetings. Collaborate with computer manufacturers and users to develop new programming methods. Manage large teams of programmers in one or more projects. Represent project teams in program meetings or sponsor meetings.
