Faster, easier, better: Provide instructors with the tools to create the accessible, interactive, and hyper-relevant learning experiences for students that they could only dream of doing in the past. Explore how AI agents can be used to eliminate repetitive, manual tasks and massively streamline the course content management process. Use technology to empower instructors to operate efficiently, effectively, and at scale.
Next-level interactivity: Explore how rapidly evolving AI can be used to create new, innovative forms of interactive content to stimulate and engage students in more meaningful ways.
Integrations: Explore ways to break down barriers between platforms, allowing instructors to kickstart their content creation journey in Top Hat and move effortlessly across different tools in their day-to-day.
Each project will challenge you to balance experimentation, technical depth, and user empathy — while delivering tangible improvements that instructors and students feel with every interaction.
As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll own the journey from insight to impact — discovering opportunities, testing ideas quickly, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful improvements for instructors and students.
You will:
Make decisions: Create clarity in ambiguity, balancing many inputs and competing priorities to chart the path forward for your team. Move swiftly but with care, always steering towards the long-term vision.
Define and deliver value: Translate instructor and student needs into clear outcomes, measurable goals, and product hypotheses that guide your roadmap. Value outcomes over outputs.
Run rapid experiments: Curate small, focused experiments to de-risk ideas early and validate customer value before scaling features.
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and data science: Co-plan with engineering managers on technical feasibility and sequencing; partner with design to ensure delightful, accessible experiences. Dream big and explore what’s possible with data science.
Leverage data and AI: Use analytics and emerging AI technologies to uncover insights, automate workflows, and enhance engagement in the live classroom.
Deliver and iterate with care: Manage the end-to-end delivery of features — from defining requirements and success metrics through to launch, measurement, and iteration.
Communicate context: Keep stakeholders aligned through clear storytelling, documentation, and demos that connect technical details to customer outcomes.
You’re curious, collaborative, and comfortable operating where product, technology, and education intersect. You care about shipping value — not just shipping features.
You have:
3-5 years of product management experience, ideally in a SaaS or platform environment.
A technical foundation — you’re comfortable discussing APIs, data flows, or system trade-offs with engineers, even if you’re not writing code daily.
A data-informed mindset — you know how to choose the right metrics, build your own dashboards, interpret data, and ask the right questions to filter the signal from the noise.
Experience running experiments — whether A/B tests, prototypes, or lightweight validation approaches — and using the results to guide decisions.
Interest in AI technologies — you stay curious about new tools and look for practical ways to apply AI in product discovery, analysis, or feature design.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you bring people along with context, clarity, and a shared sense of purpose.
A growth mindset — you learn fast, adapt quickly, and see challenges as opportunities to improve both the product and your craft.
These aren’t required, but they’ll help you ramp up faster and make an even bigger impact:
Experience working in edtech or building products for educators or learners.
Experience managing a content management product.
Exposure to real-time systems, data pipelines, or event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks or analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar).
Previous collaboration with remote or distributed teams.
